1) Their support is slow
2) Banking sucks and takes too long
3) Spreads are too wide and gets bigger at night.
4) Not a 24/7 place so trying to cover a drawdown with extra wont work, transfer takes longer than 3 days, so beware of weekends there is knowbody around

Very poor customer service.Very slow.Took over 35 days to withdraw and receive funds.Terrible

I was attracted to Alpari because they used MetaTrader and they had an API. I developed a trading program using their API and the DEMO account, and tested it for a few months successfully. I decided to go live with them and used the credit card method to deposit some money. This is when the problems started. Firstly, my program opened some positions and then it tried to close positions for a profit and the system would not execute the closing trades. I couldn't even close the positions manually. I called their customer service and they couldn't tell me why. The customer service people speak English, but it is not very good and their attitude is not very helpful. Later, I was told I was using a method in the API I was not allowed to so they closed my account so that I couldn't enter any trades even though I had open positions. There was no information in the API notes that the method was not supported and it worked fine for 3 months in DEMO. They didn't even notify me that my account was being frozen. After, a few phone calls they finally allowed me to close out my positions. At that point they were at a loss, but that didn't concern because I realized Alpari was not a company I wanted to deal with. I am sure some people have had good experiences with them, but I advise that noone use this broker.

Alpari is just like all the rest of the Market Makers out there. Set-up and account with them (Open a Demo, as I am going to tell you WHY NOT to put your hard earned $ here.) Everything is great.. until you start taking the house!

Just like Velocity (Hamilton Williams) it was an eerily similar situation. Want to manually close out your position to bank $? Forget it. "Common Error" or "No Connection" Errors.

I tried to close out an $880 GBP/USD on a Sunday night- and apparently, they had other ideas in mind. But yet the server worked just fine when I that $880 had evaporated and then bounced to +$200. Connection status was live the whole time. I mean come on- it was a Sunday night- not in the 5 minutes post a Non-Farm Payroll news release. On that same note- you also start to get "No Connection" at not even peak times.

Fills have always been good- but now they have even started not letting you buy when you want. I tried over 30 times to Short a GBP/CHF about a week ago. Never took my order-but yet the same order server allowed me to cancel my order in lightning fast execution.

Alpari doesn't have the liquidity to stand up to anyone who knows how to make money off the market- try it and see! Garnish a 3 straight month winning streak and see your platform suddenly "start acting up."

They are no better than the rest of the Bucket Shop Market Makers out there. FIND AN ECN and save yourself the pain and heartache!

The good thing about forex justice is they never edit my posts which shows that these guys really post honest reviews, I have an account with them and can't really bitch about them, good broker and if you are looking for a different type or feel sign up with these guys, I don't think you will be disappointed.

i downloaded their software and my computer now is infected with some type of worm/virus, makes you wonder who are these guys and what are they doing, i would be very careful before chosing this broker, make sure you have some super strong anti viral programme

I don't understand how this can be rated 5 stars, the spreads are simply too high and if you trade often in one day they really add up. Customer service is great but if they could reduce their spreads they deserve 5 stars. What is really underrated in this industry is the spread!!!

I am very pleased to the service Alpari provides... specially their client service... very good!!! ... the order processing is not so fast as other brokers but still i have a good service... I rate 5 stars!!!...

I have done extensive research on many different brokers, and I have to say that I think Alpari might be underrated. There has been little to no slippage, s/l and t/p are executed at the exact point, uses metatrader 4. Just wish the spreads were less. check it out and let me know what you think.
