AmiFX aka Advanced Markets FX.

They have good spreads, but the feed and spreads from http://www.ctnsystems.com/ or London Capital Group Currenex are often better, especially the GBP,CAD and NZD pairs.

Commission also should be lowered - it's too expensive for scalpers.

I hope they will add much more liquidity provider and banks to lower the spreads and increase the liquidity.

BTW: the Advanced Trader 1 platform was much better than Advanced Trader 2 !!

saw the great spreads on the demo so tried the real thing. same tight spreads. no rejects. great service so far.

Ok, I said I would be back to up date on what I was to experience with FXDD as my broker. So far so good. I have called them three different times with just simple questions I have had with my account and one real problem I had on a stop that was triggered early only to find out that it was really my fault. I forgot to cover my spread on a short..LOL....opps. Anyway to date everything is going just as they promised. Spreads are on target. Quick execution, Although I have had one execution that failed due to my internet connection. Again, fault lies on my end. My stops are hit on target, take profits are hit when they are suppose and the response from the people answering the phones are way more then I expected. Kind, courteous and have answered all my questions and fixed my problem right there on the spot. My deposits (two) have been filled right with the guide lines they set. I have to say I am very well pleased at this point and will be back again to up date this review even further.

I have traded forex for the last 3 years. used various brokers, left most because of poor service and bad execution. I have been with Advanced Markets since march 09' and doesn't look like i will need to change broker again. Great service, from account opening to any queries I had. The unbelievable thing is that i have yet to be be rejected from a trade. I can enter and exit trades any time I want to get in to the market or out of my position. I really like this firm, great speed and execution, though little marketing so you probably haven't heard of them, I only got there by accident. Platform is easy once you have given it a day or two. But knowing there is no dealing desk, and from my heavy testing I can tell you there isn't one, I can feel good that my trades are hitting the banks. The spreads get wide during quiet times, but that makes sense, if your firm has 2 pips spreads when most markets are closed you can be sure that is an artificial spread.
I also have a friend who used an API to connect to amifx, and he says the speed really helps with his black box, sub 5ms on most trades.
Let me know your thoughts on this firm.
