Seems to be centrally operated out of the Philippines.
I get confusing messages from them in regards to cost. First a sales representative told me I could trade for free via no middle man. Then he tells me it's 1.00 Euro per trade 10 days later. But beforehand I checked their website - says communitcation costs are $45.00 (currency?) per month. Sales representative not upfront. But this is not the largest grievance or problem.
I was told they are trading from their own newly designed trading platform of arround Novemember 2008 from Ukrainian software programmers.
On December 5th, 2008, 12:19pm EST I put an order to buy 37 contracts @ USD/CAD 126.158 (market value) on a demo account. 3 seconds later my order was fulfilled at 129.580. This is over 3 cents higher! That's too many pips!
I learned never buy Forex at MARKET VALUE, PUT IN AN ASKING PRICE. But still that should not have mattered much.
They said it's a software bug on the demo account but that doesn't happen in real life. They tested me by asking for a computer screen snap shot. I emailed it and both my real & demo accounts have been deleted by the company. I no longer have access. No reply.
I'm a computer programmer and I don't believe it was a bug.
I tested their platform again and I got a similar result again. Not only that but even trying to get a reasonable ask was very tricky.
Finally lets say I had to fight for this in a court of law. I have to go to the Phillipines? How could I prove it if www.Frontel.net suspends or deletes my account for which they already did? They could just falsify records of a fake losing purchase I suppose.
