User reviews SCAM Saturday, 15 November 2008 Written by Mike from USA Etrade is also horrible for trading stocks. I've had some stocks with etrade since 2001 and non-trading fees has basically eaten away my entire account. At the time I signed up for etrade(college days) they did not require occasional trading. These are not light fees either. Customer care also has a no care attitude. For a Company that puts so much money into branding they really come off cheap and shameless. Bascially no better then the other scammers. I would definately recommend staying away from etrade... don't be fooled by thier pretty website or expensive marketing. SCAM Thursday, 31 July 2008 Written by Jason from USA these commissions are outrageous on top of a large spread, how this company survives just proves there are so many gulliable people on this planet, take my advice there are much better brokers out there, just do your homework and it will save you some money. Tuesday, 03 June 2008 Written by Horace from USA I cannot give this a scam rating because they did let me close my account with my funds, I only give this one star because the spread and commission costs are close to highway robbery and it is not worth to use this company for foreign exchange transactions.
